We had a full house today for the monthly "Jelly Roll" class. I knew it was going to be a fun day, when the laughter started rolling, right after the first sewing machines were set up. Cyndi does such a great job teaching and explaining the fastest and easiest techniques to create their quilts. Today's pattern was called "Strip Cocktail" by G.E. Designs.
The the spread of food was spectacular (I don't know who brought the vegetable salad, but it was delicious -- yes, I sneak in sometimes and snack when I can... they've not kicked me out yet!)
All in all, when the classroom is full, the true joy of sewing shines through. The laughter, the quiet-time while they're concentrating on sewing, and the enjoyment of fellow sewists, who simply love to sew.
Great way to spend a Friday, I'd say!
