I'm finally getting a breather after last weekend's Southern Colorado Embroidery Extravangza Event.
Linda Brazzell, our host, was simply amazing. You can tell early on if someone knows their stuff or not, and she KNOWS machine embroidery! Her mini-trunk show was so inspiring. And her knowledge of tips and tricks were priceless.
We got to play on Baby Lock's Destiny Sewing & Embroidery machine, the top-of-the-line.
It is amazing how far the embroidery technology has come. From scanning abilities to camera positioning, The Destiny is certainly a machine that will release the creativity inside.
"Show and Tell" is always fun. Here's a few shots.
We now have 7 new Destiny owners and Debra is going to be kept very busy in Club Destiny (a free class to First Stitches Destiny owners).
Yes, our first Southern Colorado Embroidery Event was a huge success. We had great food, an excellent instructor, with lots of laughs and door prizes.
And I had a blast, even with my freshly broken wrist from the night before (my timing is always good, don't you think?!)
Everyone left with a "I Survived a First Stitches Event" tee-shirt. (I got one, too)
Are we going to do this again next year? Oh, yeah! You betcha!!!
