English Paper Piecing

Oh my!  Today's class on English Paper Piecing was quite interesting. Beautiful fabric combined with hand stitching and hexagons!

It's fun just "winging" it.

We took the blocks Amanda made and we added some simple sashing. Then we decided it needed just a little more interest, so we added the little flowers on the green blocks.

I really liked how it turned out.  Great job Amanda! She sat down on the Janome Horizon MC15000 for the first time and was flying through the stitches in no time at all.

Gotta love Janome!
