A Quilt Made from a View

This first photo is the view from our lake house on Indian Lake in Ohio.  The second photo is a landscape quilt created by my cousin Cathy for my mom.  Both are beautiful!

April Kids Kamp - Making Okey Dokey Pillows

Nearly a full house today at Kids Kamp. I was amazed at how fast the girls learned how to appliqué!  We have some wild and crazy owls happening!  They finish their pillow next week.

Blooms and Brrrr

Someone told me, don't ever plant your flowers before all the snow is off of Greenhorn Mountain (located just west of us). There's a good bit of wisdom in that statement!

Month 4 of the Jacobean Journey

Linda P. brought her JJ blocks through Month 3 and look how it's shaping up.  This is so much fun watching all the different sizes and fabric choices come together.  Tuesday is Session #2 and I can't wait to see more!

 

At least snow in April melts fast...

When it snows in April, people tend to stay inside. What better use of time than to make a quickie quilt.  Marge started this, did all the piecing and one border, then Nancy finished it up with the outer border.  Me, I played supervisor.  But I get to have it quilted and bound.
