I had been piecing quilts together for about 3 years, when someone suggested I take a beginner quilt class. Now, I don't know if they were saying my quilts were not very good, or if they just thought I had lots of potential to be a great quilter. I'm opting for the latter.
So I took Cyndi McChesney's Beginner Quilt Skills Builder Class. Six weeks later, I had come to realize that yes, I do have the potential to be a great quilter, and yes, my prior quilts were less than the quality desired. The beauty of taking a class from a nationally renowned quilting instructor, is you learn tips and tricks, proper techniques, and you gain a whole new confidence in your abilities.
We are in the middle of the Winter beginner's class and I'm sure Cyndi will be scheduling another class soon.
Here are some pics from the currect class.
