It's a well known statistic, that if you don't start your Christmas projects by the last day of August, there's 87.6% chance that you won't get them all completed in time.

I'm not sure what is more exciting: Randy and I being in Las Vegas, experiencing the latest and greatest from Janome, or spending some time with the new Grandbaby! Well, the Grandbaby, of course. But the new Janome MC 15000 is one super-slick machine. I'm so thrilled at what it can do! I love the MC12000, but the 15000 enhances and goes way beyond what I thought it would. (I can use my i-Pad to edit designs, and transfer them wirelessly - no USB stick transfer needed!!! Plus, the automatic needle threader - just a push of a button, the huge HD screen, and... too much to try to put in here.) I am very pleased - to put it mildly.
Oh-Oh-Oh, AND, I got to meet The Hoop Sisters.
It has been a great couple of days, and we have a couple more to go!

Time to give your home decor a little POP. The Pillow Pop club meets once a month, starting Friday, September 6th, from 1pm - 4pm.
No long-term obligation, just come on a month-to-month basis and begin transforming the look of your bedroom, living room, or any other room in the house. They'll be curves, crosses, log cabins and more designs. Not overly complicated, but challenging and fun.
The cost of the "club" is $25 + the Pillow Pop book by Heather Bostic and the materials needed for each month you come.
Call today and sign up for September's club. 719-285-8088.

In cleaning the store this week, Miss Randi and I decided there is just some fabric that needs to find their home. So we talked about getting an old suitcase and having it hold discounted items. Unfortunately, neither one of us have an old suitcase, so we decided to use a Pink Bag that has been sitting under the cutting table. We're not really sure why it was there... SO....
Until we find an old, old, (preferably green) suitcase, we'll have this "Pink Bag" holding fabric and items discounted at 40% off.
So always ask about checking out the Pink Bag. It will probably not always be in the same place, so you'll have to ask where it is. But it'll be here! And there will always be "stuff" in it!
